✨ Hi, Murun Pearls Family. Today, we invite you to explore one of our great journey. For Murun Pearls in January 2026 became a defining chapter in Murun Pearls’ ongoing journey of learning, verification, and standard-setting. Our time in Japan was not about destinations alone, but about understanding the systems, disciplines, and values that shape how pearls are respected at the highest level. From laboratory validation to industry exhibitions and historical sites, each step of the journey offered insight into how tradition and modern standards coexist within the pearl world. Murun Pearls, a renowned leader in the pearl industry, recently embarked on a business and knowledge journey to Japan in January 2026. Let's delve into the details of how Murun Pearls upheld their standards during this significant trip.
This journey did not begin in Japan. Prior to our arrival, Murun Pearls conducted market observations across key pearl trading hubs, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau. These visits allowed us to study quality variations, market transparency, pricing structures, and sourcing practices across different regions.
January 14, 2026 – Scientific Validation in Japan
Upon arrival, our primary agenda was the submission of selected South Sea Pearls and Akoya Necklaces to the GIA Laboratory. This step reflects Murun Pearls’ commitment to transparency and integrity. Laboratory certification is not a formality, but a responsibility—ensuring that each pearl undergoes objective scientific evaluation, including identification, natural characteristics, and authenticity. True beauty, in our belief, must be supported by verifiable facts.
January 15–16, 2026 – Understanding Industry Direction at IJT 2026
Our journey continued at IJT 2026 in Tokyo, Japan’s largest jewelry exhibition. Rather than pursuing short-lived trends, we focused on understanding how leading global brands maintain quality, build long-term trust, and position pearls as enduring symbols of value rather than commodities. This experience reaffirmed our belief that consistency and discipline are the foundation of premium jewelry.

January 17, 2026 – Respecting the Origins at Mikimoto Pearl Island
From Tokyo, we traveled to Toba to visit museums and Mikimoto Pearl Island, the birthplace of cultured pearls.
Here, we participated in the island’s educational stamp challenge, a structured program requiring visitors to complete designated historical and educational checkpoints in order to earn the official visit stamp.
The stamp is not simply given—it is earned through engagement and understanding.
For Murun Pearls, this experience was not about collecting a symbol, but about honoring the heritage and discipline that shaped the modern pearl industry.

January 19, 2026 – Closing the Journey in Ginza
Our journey concluded in Ginza, Tokyo. We visited the first Mikimoto gallery as an appreciation of Japanese design philosophy, precision, and craftsmanship.
On the same day, we collected the official GIA certificates for the pearls submitted earlier—completing the verification process from beginning to end.

Our South Sea Pearl and Akoya collections have now returned GIA-certified, transparently verified, and supported by a journey rooted in responsibility. For Murun Pearls, pearls are more than jewelry. They represent trust, heritage, and value—worn with confidence.
We move forward with one principle: upholding standards without compromise.
✨ At Murun Pearls, we don’t just sell jewelry. We carry a legacy.
From the winds of the Mongolian steppes, to the hands of emperors, and now to you, our pearls carry whispered tales of luxury, resilience, and timeless charm.
Every pearl you choose is more than a piece of jewelry.
It is a continuation of a cultural journey — from the tropical seas of the Philippines to the vast lands of Mongolia.
Whether you are honoring tradition, searching for a meaningful gift, or collecting fine jewelry with purpose — you are becoming part of something greater.
